Pruning roses, watering roses, feeding roses, winterizing roses All America Rose Selections Winners For 2004

Every year All-America Rose Selections (AARS) evaluates a number of roses in 27 official AARS trial gardens across the U.S. Their gardens represent a wide range of climates throughout the United States, so the roses selected must do well in all of the climates. They closely examine the hardiness, disease-resistance, novelty, and color of its blossoms during a two-year period. Only two or three roses each year win the coveted distinction of receiving an AARS award. For 2004:

Day Breaker - All America Rose Selection Winner for 2004

A vigorous and productive performer, Memorial Day is highly disease resistant and especially loves hot weather, particularly for unfurling its commemorative rose petals. It makes a great, easy-to-grow addition to any garden.
