Moondance, 2007 AARS Rose Winner
Every year All-America
Rose Selections (AARS)
evaluates a number of roses in 27 official AARS trial gardens across
the U.S. Their gardens represent a wide range of climates throughout
the United States, so the roses selected must do well in all of the climates.
They closely examine the hardiness, disease-resistance, novelty, and
color of its blossoms during a two-year period.
For 2007, the AARS winners include:

Moondance
I am just going to quote Weeks Roses here mostly because I love
this song!
"'It's a marvelous night for a moondance'...but the stars aren't
always up above. You see, white roses are Mother Nature's best
night lights for the garden"...A floribunda, Moondance has large
clusters of creamy white, beautifully formed flowers contrasted
by very glossy dark green foliage. (always a good sign when you're
looking for disease resistance.) Vigorous and tall with well branched
stems this rose seems perfect to plant amongst your other roses
to enhance them as well as a wonderful bouquet for your home.

The All America Rose Selections committee, the nonprofit association of the country's
major rose growers, has been selecting winning roses since 1938.
The roses above were selected for 2007 as AARS gold medal winners.
