Climbing Roses

Sombreuil

Rosa Climbing

Sombreuil is An old, white climbing hybrid Tea Noisette rose first introduced in 1850. A very hardy rose that can survive very cold winters, its creamy white buds open to a full, very double bloom with hundreds of petals. The flowers are aged ivory in color, lightly tinged with pink. The blooms' fragrance is very strong and reminds you of honeysuckle. Lasts well when cut. Puts on a great show of flowers in mid-to-late spring, and then again later in the summer and into fall.

Growing & Maintenance Tips

Sombreuil is a Canadian grown rose. Please note that while they are considered grade #1 roses, the size is much smaller than those roses grown in warmer US areas.
