Scepter 'd Isle is a charming rose which bears numerous, cupped flowers, with yellow stamens visible within.
The colour is a soft pink shading to a paler pink on the outer petals.
Its growth is rather upright, with its flowers held above the foliage. It flowers freely and continuously.
There is a powerful fragrance - an outstanding example of the English Rose fragrance, based on the myrrh note introduced with 'Constance Spry'.

Here it is! The classic Hybrid tea bud in flowering form and seducing fragrance. This show-off plant is a blend of creamy-yellow shades suffused with pinks that vary with the season and weather.

Sheila is the hybridizer's wife. She must be a lovely lady (and smell nice, too) to equal this gorgeous rose imported from England. Despite the Floribunda classification, her flowers of yellow brushed by deep pink are more like a Hybrid Tea in size and form. And, yes, each blossom is saturated with wonderful fragrance. The vigorous rounded bush is loaded with glossy green leaves.

There's no rose that's any yellower and no foliage that's any greener. The combo makes your eyes blink & your head spin in disbelief. Better yet, the flowers hold on to their searing yellow tones to the very end, dropping away from the well-behaved plant just in time to welcome the next round of bloom.
