Very resistant to disease.
The new bud is deep pink, almost red, fading to a pure deep pink as the bloom matures.
The undersides of the petals have a hint of yellow.
Princess Anne is bushy, upright and compact in growth.
It flowers over a long period and in large clusters; the individual blooms opening in succession.

Princess Anne will make an excellent hedge rose.
David Austin English Roses named this after the Her Royal Highness, the Princess Royal who is patron of Riding for the Disabled. The charity offers opportunities for therapy, achievement and enjoyment to people with disabilities.
