All America Rose Selections Winner

All American Rose (AARS) is a designation given by the American Rose Society to roses evaluated for a certain period of time by members and test gardens throughout the United States.

The last rose given this designation is Francis Meilland, a truly beautiful Hybrid Tea.
Some roses are also evaluated by the ADR working group in Germany, the toughest rose selection trial in the world. A winning rose embodies all of the characteristics consumers desire in a garden plant including disease resistance and fragrance.

All American Rose is a designation given by the American Rose Society to roses evaluated for a certain period of time by members and test gardens through out the country.

The ADR working group also tests roses for seven years. The roses chosen are known as Kordes Select. To view these wonderful roses, under Rose Class, choose Kordes Roses or Kordes Select from our huge selection.

About Face™
Rosa Grandiflora

A topsy-turvy attention-getter, this bi-color medal-grabber makes your eyeballs salute 'cause the two colors are outside-in. Or is it inside-out? The lighter lasting golden-orange color is on the inside with a distinct darker bronzy-red outside. Yet it's not just the flying colors that will cause a flap. It's a turning point as a plant, too, with superb vigor, lush clean green leaves and loads of bloom.

All you have to do is just stick it in the ground, give it a little water, kick back and watch it grow. The foliage is so glossy green and free from black spot that the bush looks great even without flowers. But you won't have much of an opportunity to see just leaves 'cause it blooms up a storm. St. Patrick®
Rosa Hybrid Tea

Some like it hot…and this is one! The luck of the Irish may have finally brought a super slow-opening yellow rose that likes the heat. This saintly yellow can pick up a touch of gold in cool weather, but he'll be wearin' the green when the temps turn up. Loads of novel chartreuse-shaded buds spiral open to yellow-gold flowers of amazing stamina. Grey-green foliage completes the picture.

Sunset Celebration
Rosa Hybrid Tea

Sometimes sunset hues are apricot burnished with cream, sometimes amber orange blushed with warm pink and sometimes a clear warm rich pink. It just depends on which sunset. The 'sunset' in this case is the famed Sunset Magazine celebrating its 100th anniversary with this striking award winner. All these colors can come forth from this attractive well-formed Hybrid Tea, depending on your locale. No matter where it's grown, though, the plant fills out beautifully, full of clean green foliage and long stemmed blossoms. A truly international rose, it's already picked up Gold Medals at The Hague, Belfast and La Roeulx (Belgium), Silver Medals at Genoa and Monza, plus the RINZ winner in New Zealand. ©Weeks Roses
